Simple Plan is a Québécois pop-punk band. The band has recently achieved widespread popularity despite receiving little appreciation from critics, many dubbing them posers with little creativity, talent, musicianship, or depth. On their second album, ''Still Not Getting Any...'', the track "Shut Up!" is supposed to be a response to critics showing that they don't care what other people think about them.
