Days of the New is a post-grunge rock band from Charlestown, Indiana (later relocated to Louisville, Kentucky), formed in 1995. The band was one of the first bands to be signed to Outpost Records, when Travis Meeks was 17 years old.The group's self-titled first album had two hit singles, "Touch, Peel and Stand" and "The Down Town". The album sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.
