A king is lost, he's been replaced with comedy.

There's the siren
lurring on a rock,
a head that has been lost into the sea,
widgets working in the docks
while everybody else is singing:
an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
The king of comedy's their guest of honour.
He wares a medal on his chest,
he shakes them like a leaf and fireworks on new year's eve.
They say the siren has run out of stories,
but i just wish they wouldn't shout; it's not her mother tongue.
