Well I went to the doctor to see what was wrong with me
He said I had a fever and I just had a coronary
He said the love bug must have bit me and I must have a monkey on my back
He said from all indications I must have had a heart attack
Well he must have been right but it doesn’t hurt me all the time

Well I didn’t know how much I’d miss her till my baby walked out on me
Then my head started throbbin’ and the whole room got dizzy
And it hit me like a rock and I finally figured out what I lacked
