The group comprises Chris Martin (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar), Jonny Buckland (lead guitar), Guy Berryman (bass guitar), and Will Champion (drums, backing vocals, other instruments). Coldplay's early material was compared to acts such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, U2, and Travis.
