Photographer Timothy K. (Tim) Hubbard was born and raised on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Northwestern Montana. He graduated as Valedictorian and National Merit Commended Student. He obtained a 4 year scholarship from the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation to attend Arizona State University.
While attending ASU he worked in a processing laboratory, a graphic arts studio and a screen process printing plant. Upon graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Photography Tim apprenticed to the nationally reknowned architectural photographer A. F. Payne.
Entry to the film industry came as an electrician on commercials which led to the feature Ninja III. Tim later embarked on a 13 year journey as a focus puller, traveling to Japan, Europe and Africa working with the most respected commercial directors of the day. This in turn led to the feature Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Tim moved up to operate The Independent starring Jerry Stiller and photographed by Amir Hamed. Subsequently he has operated on The District for CBS and other television shows.
