Jenny O'Grady profile

Choir Director who formed the group Metro Voices whilst enjoying a wide ranging career herself as a singer working regularly with numerous ensembles and orchestras including The Royal Opera House.

Jenny has worked with leading artists as diverse as Sir Georg Solti, Riccardo Muti, Elaine Paige, John Miles and Paul McCartney on recordings and in concerts. She performed solo on the tracks Propaganda for Sparks, Argentina for Jeremy Healy and Amos and on Look At Me for Geri Halliwell. Additionally, her television credits include The Two Ronnies, The Dancing Years, James Galway's Christmas Carol as well as several plays and musicals for BBC Television.

In the area of Musical Theatre, she has worked on Phantom Of The Opera, Cats, Godspell, Smokey Joe's Café, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Napoleon. She is resident vocal coach for the London production of Lion King.

O'Grady has trained a variety of artists including Javine, Jennifer Saunders, Jason Flemyng, Jonathan Pryce, Patsy Palmer, Val Kilmer and Ashley Judd. She was Chorus Master on the MGM Film De-Lovely.
