Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee profile

Christopher Lee (born 27 May 1922, Belgravia, London, England - died 7 June 2015, Chelsea, London, England) was a British actor, voice actor, singer, and musician. Though he was mostly known as a prolific actor (appearing in over 220 films), he also sang on various opera and musical pieces. Lee received many awards during his life, but the most notable were the titles Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE), Commander - Venerable Order of Saint John (CStJ), and in 2009 he was knighted for services to drama and charity. He died of heart failure, aged 93.
