So I strode to the club, was never there before
It seemed it's best times were gone
I took a look around, some pals were marking cards
It became so clear to me

Then she came up on stage, I leaned back, did we attain full age?

Her eyelids closed to say come whatever may
It became so clear to me

And after the show I was ready to go, I was stopped and got a note
As I turned around she was gone, but I was found and I could make it out:
