Talented singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, Enzo Avitabile was born in 1955 and raised in Marianella (a poor area at the outskirts of the city of Naples).
As a child he studied saxophone then he performed in several clubs attended by American people stationing in Naples. He later earned his diploma in flute at “S.Pietro a Majella“ Conservatory of Naples and soon started collaborating with a great number of International pop, rock and soul artists, such as James Brown and Tina Turner, never losing sight of his own roots and his personal and unique style.
