Screeching Weasel is an American punk band from Chicago, Illinois. They were formed in 1986 by Ben Weasel and John Jughead. The band gained prominence in the early 1990s after signing a record deal with the East Bay punk label, Lookout! Records. Since the band's formation, Weasel has been its only constant member, though Jughead was present in every incarnation of the band until 2009.
