Lyrics to Orchid
Orchid were an early screamo band from Amherst, Massachusetts. Considered by many to be one of the pioneers of the screamo sound, Orchid combined a postmodern aesthetic with hardcore punk, releasing several now-hard-to-find EPs and splits as well as three full-length records. Orchid's influences are assumed to be Canadian hardcore band Union of Uranus and One Eyed God Prophecy, but band members more often cite the German bands Systral and Carol. Read more »
