Mortal Love is a Norwegian gothic metal band which is currently signed to Massacre Records. Their sound makes combined use of soprano and tenor vocals, whilst placing emphasis on a consistent rhythm section, piano and synthesizer melodies and slower tempos. The predominant subject of their lyrics is love and failed relationships. Their first three releases were composed as a trilogy, as can be observed from combining the titles of the albums (All the Beauty, I Have Lost and Forever Will Be Gone). The band released the final album of the trilogy on . On their website, they have announced the band is currently writing songs for a new album and plan to release it in 2010.
