Martyr A.D. was a metalcore band formed in 2000 from former members of the bands Disembodied and Holding On. Members of Martyr A.D. included Andy Hart on vocals, Charlie Johnson and Joel Johnson on guitar, Tara Anderson on bass, and Karl Hensel on drums. They released their first album The Human Condition In Twelve Fractions with the indie label Ferret Music in 2001.
