Kevin Parent (born in Greenfield Park, Quebec (now Longueuil) is a bilingual Qu?b?cois singer-songwriter. Although his mother language is English, he was raised and educated in the French speaking area of Bay of Chaleur (Gasp? Peninsula) in the municipality of Nouvelle during his childhood and attended high school at the ?cole Antoine-Bernard in Carleton-sur-Mer and now lives in the nearby town of Miguasha.
He has recorded exclusively in French until the 2007 release of Fangless Wolf Facing Winter, when Parent felt the time was appropriate to produce an English album.
