John Waite, born July 4, 1955 in Lancaster, Lancashire, England, is an adult contemporary singer.John Waite launched his solo career with his 1982 album titled ''Ignition'' which produced the hit single "Change". His next album, ''No Brakes'', made him an international star. This album included the smash hits "''Missing You,''" which went to No.1 on the American charts, and "Euroshima," which by rights most definitely should have.
