Holly Brook, (born , 1986) is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter from Mazomanie, Wisconsin.
Biography
Involved in music at an early age, Brook performed professionally as a child, in a folk duo with her mother called Generations. Brook started her first band at the age of fifteen. Two years later, in 2003, Brook moved to Los Angeles and recorded a demo, which led to her being signed by Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson to his band's vanity label, Machine Shop Recordings, in the fall of 2004.
On June 6, 2006, Like Blood Like Honey, Brook's debut album, was released. In May 2008, Brook was released from her contract with Machine Shop and signed with OCD Music Group.
Brook has appeared on albums by other artists, including Brie Larson's Finally Out of P.E. and Fort Minor's The Rising Tied. Brook has toured with Duncan Sheik as part of his backing band, and also appeared on his album Whisper House.
