Harry McClintock (8 October 1882 - 24 April 1957), also known as "Haywire Mac," was an American country music composer, hobo, and labor organizer, best known for his song "Big Rock Candy Mountain" (featured in the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?). The song reached #1 on Billboard's "Hillbilly Hits" chart in 1939. He is credited as being the first person to sing "The Preacher and the Slave," a song by Joe Hill, in public.
