I dreamt I saw the Lord come for His church
After judgment time was done, the Christians rushed
To see the blessed Son of Man,
Look at His nail-pierced feet and hands,
And lay their crowns before Him as they wept.
And as a hush was felt by all,
They sat before the Master’s throne,
To quench their long-term curiosity.
We will sit at the Master’s feet,
Looking up with worship and awe in our eyes
As the God of all creation explains
All the mysteries of the world,
That the greatest of minds could not understand.
How marvelous it will be to sit at the Master’s feet!
While we plan many things in our hearts,
The counsel of the Lord is what really counts.
God has the answers we all need,
If His perfect wisdom we will heed;
He’ll guide us if our hearts are humbly kept.
God’s counsel stands against the tide;
His Word will evermore abide.
Our hearts will praise Him for eternity!
We will sit at the Master’s feet,
