Dark at Dawn was a power metal band from Germany, formed in 1993. The band differed from others in the genre, mostly due to singer Thorsten Kohlrausch's rough, low-register vocals. Dark at Dawn released several independent EPs, before signing to Iron Glory records in 1999. Their label debut, Baneful Skies, was released on , 1999.
