Mr. Dalvin (born Dalvin DeGrate on July 23, 1971 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an African-American R&B/soul musician and rapper, one-quarter of the R&B group Jodeci. He is the younger brother of Jodeci founder DeVante Swing.The rapper for the group, Mr. Dalvin rarely sung lead on Jodeci tracks, although he took production and songwriting credits on ''Diary of A Mad Band'' and ''The Show, The After Party, The Hotel''.
