Dale Hawkins (born Delmar Allen Hawkins on , 1936 in Goldmine, Louisiana) is a pioneer American rock singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist who is often called the architect of the swamp rock boogie. (Fellow rockabilly pioneer Ronnie Hawkins is his cousin.)
