Ceremonial Oath

Ceremonial Oath was a Swedish death metal band who formed in early 1989 under the name "Desecrator" and disbanded in 1995. During their short career they released two demos, one EP, and two full-length albums. Their influence is greater than their short lifespan suggests: the band served the purpose of bringing together some of the musicians which would later assemble In Flames, an influential band the melodic death metal genre.
