I was looking at all the lifeكنت انظر في كل الحياة
There were plants and birds and rocks and thingsهناك النباتات والطيور والحجارة واشياء
There was sand and hills and ringsوهناك التلال الرملية والحلقات
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzzالشيء الاول هو اجتمع مع طنين ذبابه
And the sky with no cloudsوسماء بلا غيوم
The heat was hot and the ground was dryالحراره كان حار وجاف الارض
But the air was full of soundلكن الجو كان مليئا الصوت
Ive been through the desert on a horse with no nameوقد خسرت خلال الصحراء على حصان بلا إسم
It felt good to be out of the rainورأى حسن ان يكون من المطر
In the desert you can remember your nameفي الصحراء يمكنك ان تذكر اسمك

I was looking at a river bedكنت انظر في قاع النهر
And the story it told of a river that flowedوالقصة هو ابلغ من نهر متدفق
Made me sad to think it was deadجعلني اعتقد انه من المحزن ان كان ميتا
