Alux Nahual is the Latin rock band formed in 1979 by brothers Plubio, Ranferi, and Alvaro Aguilar. Alux Nahual is a maya-quiche phrase naming a goblin similar to a leprechaun. The band is considered by many as a pioneer for generating a Latin rock sound. Alux Nahual was and remains an inspiration for local bands trying to make it to the big time.
