Current band members8 Foot Sativa is a successful New Zealand based groove metal (earlier mallcore) band, formed in 1998. They are colloquially known as the abbreviated "8 Foot" (named after an 8 foot marijuana plant an 'associate' of the band had stashed somewhere), and the New Zealand music press is known to refer to them as The Bomb, Bitch.
